Why doesn't the Amount match what actually reached my bank account?
The large figure at the top of the confirmation is the gross amount — what the sender paid before PayPal deducted its processing fee. Goods and Services payments incur a standard rate of 2.99% plus $0.49 for US transactions. The Fee column on the detail page shows this deduction.
